The course is a combination of lectures and intensive hands on workshops delivered in a tell-show-do format.

▶Day-1 (28 JUNE 2024)
The first day will focus on pre-extraction site evaluation of hard and soft tissues for optimal dental implant planning.
The day will cover atraumatic extraction techniques and highly predictable socket preservation strategies to allow for stress free implant placement.

▶Day-2 (29 JUNE 2024)
The second day will focus on soft tissue management around implants. Flap management and soft tissue optimisation at different stages of the implant procedures (pre-implant placement, simultaneous with implant placement and second stage) will be explored.

Dr. Sheng Zhang
Dr Sheng Zhang is a general dentist with a special interest and practice limited to implants and periodontics. He has studied extensively around the world learning from the leaders in the field and completed numerous externships in Europe and USA.
Dr Sheng has specifically designed this course for those who are just embarking on their dental implantology education and it is a culmination of knowledge that he wished was instilled in him when he first started his implant journey.
