Facially Driven Smile Design for Porcelain Veneers
In this lecture, we will start by exploring modern approaches to smile design by observing the differences between traditional smile design and facially driven smile design.
Utilising a trial smile, or motivational mock-up, can greatly aid in patient conversion and diagnosis by providing a tangible preview of the final result. This lecture will also focus on the integration of digital intra-oral scanners and facial scanners to significantly enhance the porcelain veneer workflow.
By combining these digital tools, practitioners can achieve smoother workflow efficiency and better patient outcomes. Additionally, the lecture will cover minimal preparation techniques for veneers using the ‘Aesthetic Pre-evaluation Temporary Technique.’
Simple, effective methods for temporisation will also be discussed. Lastly, we will present how you can collaborate closely with your laboratory to further optimise patient outcomes, ensuring that all aspects of the veneer process are well-coordinated and executed to the highest standards.

Understanding and applying All-On-X treatment concept
This lecture aims to comprehensively explore the innovative field of "All-on-X" in dentistry, a revolutionary topic gaining widespread acceptance in the realm of dental implants. All-on-X offers a contemporary and effective dental implant solution for the replacement or restoration of entire sets of teeth.
In this lecture, we will delve into the concept and principles of All-on-X. Understanding how this technology delivers excellent outcomes for patients and analyzing its differences from conventional dental implant methodologies will be our initial focus. Additionally, insights into the history and evolutionary trends of All-on-X will be provided to grasp how this technology has evolved within the current landscape of implant dentistry.
Furthermore, the lecture will showcase real-world cases of clinical applications of All-on-X, illustrating how this technology can be applied to diverse patient scenarios. The presenter will present “practical digital” solutions for various implant cases, explaining the considerations needed to tailor optimal treatment plans based on specific patient situations.

Digital Dentistry: The Future of Smile Design
Designing a smile requires balancing aesthetic artistry with facial harmony, and this lecture will simplify the digital smile design process into 2 key stages: 2D Smile Analysis and 3D Wax-Up. The 2D Smile Design involves analysing a patient's smile photo using tools like PowerPoint or Keynote to identify facial asymmetry and guide treatment planning.
This step allows for immediate simulation of the final smile, which helps both practitioners and patients visualise the outcome. The 3D Wax-Up stage uses intraoral scans and a 3D tooth library to create motivational and ideal wax-ups, facilitating a "test drive" of the new smile and providing precise guides for veneer preparation.
These digital models can be used for in-house production or sent to a lab, improving speed, control, and patient satisfaction in delivering composite or porcelain veneers, All-on-4 cases, or complete dentures.
